Music Ministry
Mission: To use music as a means of preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ and to celebrate His love with our gifts and talents.
We have several vocal and instrumental ensembles that participate in the worship service throughout the year.
The Youth and Adult Choirs participate in the worship service frequently and the Gospel, Children’s and Handbell choirs participate at least once a month
The male quartet, Steers of Old, rehearses on an as needed basis. In addition to occasionally singing in church , they have for the past 3 years visited shut-ins at Christmas time providing carols and fellowship to those who cannot make it to church.
The Adult, Gospel and Youth Choirs have all gone outside of the church to sing at joint worship services, conference and community events.
Joyful Noise! And the Variety Ringers (handbell choirs) have participated in handbell festivals to meet other choirs and learn new skills. Joyful Noise! Gives concerts in the community and rings for special worship services.
The Children’s Choir performs a cantata during the worship service once a year, as well as singing once a month.
