Mission & Service
This committee’s responsibility is to develop, present, initiate and inspire faith building in the community of the church and aboard. They develop and/or present opportunities to serve the children of God by giving, teaching, sponsoring, learning, sharing and loving unconditional, and acts as a liaison between the Church and missionaries.
Adopt a Soldier – Providing letters and care packages to deployed soldiers.
Good Sam Project – Bi-Monthly distributing backpacks of supplies and food to the homeless in our community.
Our Daily Bread – Providing volunteers, children’s books and donations to the Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen
St. Gregory Families – Providing the materials needed for families in need to have a Merry Christmas.
Night of Peace – Providing supplies and funds to the Night of Peace Shelter
School Outreach Program – A group from our Church meets with local schools to see how we may assist them. We typically provide back-to-school supplies and clothing during the winter months.
Habitat for Humanity – Annually Providing assistance in clearing space to build new homes.
Christmas Time: Mitten Tree – Collecting hats and mittens for those in need; Christmas Stockings – Provide stockings for young patients in area hospitals.
Health Screenings and Awareness – Partnering with Northwest Hospital to provide health services and information to the community.
Community Outreach Meetings – Meeting semi-annually with the leaders of neighborhood community associations to discuss and solve common issues.
